Ibella's arrival in our home was a dream come true. She was a gift from my parents for Christmas, my name-day, my birthday and  my school-leaving exam, and I can honestly say that she was the best present I have ever had.

Just two weeks before her tenth birthday, Ibella developed bloat. Although the vet corrected it, an hour under anaesthetic was too much for her old heart and she died that evening.

All through her life, right up to the last day, she was a great girl - lovely, brave, trying her best to make me happy . . . I couldn't imagine having a better wolfhound than Ibella. She was a miracle.

I would like to thank everyone who helped us, who stood beside us when we needed it,  and would like to say a very special thank you to all those who will remember my dear girl as she was throughout her life: happy, full of energy, so loving . . . and so much loved.
