17.1. 2009
We were at a club show in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where wolfhounds were judged by Mr. Per Iversen from Norway and cardigans by Mr. Louis Texiera from Portugal. Because Bazi had to be in the ring at the same time as Cony and Daisy I asked our friend Bara to help us with handling. She did a great job and both Cony and Cili won their classes with her, with CACs! She worked well with Daisy too and they easily got very promising 1st, the same result I got with Bazi at her show debut! What a great day!
Thank you very much, Bara, for your perfect work!!
At this show all top titles went to the Hungarian Glor and Gael kennel. Junior BOB was Lady Rose, best female Isabella and Ivanhoe won BOB. Our congratulations to the Juhasz family! The father of all three is Pergentino Pimentel dei Mangialupi - father of our "B" litter :-)

Another show in Ljubljana, this time an international one. Wolfhounds were judge by Mr. Walsh from Ireland, who, although he wrote nice critiques about Cony and Cili, didn't award them an excellent mark or any titles, but only 'very good'. Cony was second in his class, beaten by Davor Marjanovic's Stormwind, and Cili won her class against Petra Omahen's Wichita della Bassa Pavese.
Daisy wasn't entered at this show, but Bazi was and did very well in the ring, winning with very promising 1st again.

June was a great month. On 1st June I came home from a two month holiday in the UK, which I spent at Rebecca Peek's Milkwood kennel. And I have to say, I had a great, great time there. And now, more than ever, I'm enjoying every single moment at home with our girls and Petr. :-)
Baboo (Baobhan Sith Really Irish) became a mother of a lovely litter and I am very happy to say that all puppies and mum are doing well and we are very happy with them.
We also have some heart-testing results, which made our day - Tara (Adh-Mor Really Irish, 7 years), Mary (Bloody Mary Really Irish, 4 years) and Umberto (Wolfhouse Umberto, sire of our "D" litter) were all teste. Aall of them are healthy with no signs of AF of DCM.
And now the show news. The first news is not exactly ours, but we are still very proud of it - Glor Na Gael Ivanhoe became European Winner and BOB at the European dog show in Dublin! We would like to send a many CONGRATULATIONS to his breeder and owner Csilla!! And why we are so happy? Because Ivanhoe is a half-brother to our "B" litter :-)

Our darling Gucci (Fitzgerald of Beltine) now has a professional handler and they did a fantastic job at a show in Senec, wining open class and CAC, and a few weeks later in Szerkesvehervar, Hungary, they left the ring with CAC, CACIB and BOB! Many, many congratulations and a big thank you Nada and Janka!!
Newly in the show ring was Benva's (Ben-Varrey Really Irish) daughter, who was in a puppy class at two shows and I'm proud to say won both times with "Very promissing 1." Many congratulations to Pavla, her breeder, and the Typl family, her owners.
And yes, we went to some shows too. Daisy (Dechtire Really Irish) was at a Czech club show judged by Mrs. Dagmar Holkova (CZ) and was in a junior class for the first time. She came third in class of nine with "excellent" mark and a very nice critique.
And the best news for the end - our family has grown again! We are very happy to announce that we gave our friend Kristyna a little help to import a lovely Finnish girl, Sapwood´s One of a Kind, called Feebee at home. We'll keep our fingers crossed for a happy, long and successful life of this marvellous puppy. Thank you Marika for letting us have her, and thank you Kristyna for making my dream come true!
McKenna received this critique from judge John Tiranti:
"Attractive bitch, presenting a good outline, in hard condition, and a good mover. Good head and reach of neck, well placed shoulders, straight front, well sprung ribs, long back, strong quarters, well turned stifles, showed well."
